These terms govern use of the Advanced Carpentry Services website, quote forms, secure project pages, and electronic approval tools. A signed proposal, construction agreement, change order, warranty, or other project document may contain additional terms. If a project agreement conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement controls for that project.
1. Quote requests and estimates
Submitting a quote request does not create a construction contract or guarantee availability. Website estimates may rely on the photos, measurements, selections, and scope you provide. Final scope, pricing, allowances, exclusions, and schedule are established only in a written proposal or agreement accepted by the parties.
2. Electronic records and approvals
When you approve a proposal or change order through a secure link, type your name, or otherwise submit an electronic decision, you agree that the electronic record may be used as evidence of that decision to the extent permitted by law. Do not approve on behalf of another person unless you are authorized to do so. Contact us immediately if you believe an approval link was used without permission.
3. Project changes, conditions, and schedule
Changes to the agreed scope may require a written change order and may affect price or completion time. Scheduling can also be affected by material availability, inspections, weather, concealed conditions, access, customer selections, other trades, or events outside reasonable control. Project-specific payment, cancellation, warranty, and dispute terms are stated in the applicable written agreement.
4. Your submissions
You confirm that information and files you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share them. You authorize us to use submissions to evaluate, estimate, schedule, document, and perform the requested work. Marketing use of identifiable project photos is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and any project agreement.
5. Secure links and accounts
You are responsible for protecting passwords and unique project links and for activity performed through access you control. Do not attempt to access another customer’s project, interfere with the site, introduce malicious code, scrape protected areas, or bypass authentication or security controls.
6. Website content
ACS branding, original photographs, designs, text, and website content may not be copied or commercially reused without permission, except for downloading your own project documents. Supplier names, third-party marks, and open-source components remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own terms or licenses.
7. Website availability and information
The website and portal are provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep information accurate and systems available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or that preliminary website information is complete. Contact us if a portal record appears incorrect; the fully executed project documents and actual payment records control.
8. Limitation for website use
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ACS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused solely by inability to use this website, misuse of a shared secure link, or reliance on preliminary website content. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited, or replaces the remedies stated in a signed project agreement.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information submitted through the website and project tools is handled.
10. Governing law and changes
These website terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms as the website or our legal obligations change; the date above identifies the latest version.
