Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026
This policy explains how Advanced Carpentry Services ("ACS," "we," "us," or "our") handles information submitted through this website, our quote forms, secure customer project links, and our internal business systems.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you work with us, we may collect:
- Contact and project information: name, email, phone, project address, requested services, budget range, timing, measurements, selections, notes, and communications.
- Project files: photos, drawings, receipts, contracts, approvals, and other documents you choose to provide.
- Job and payment records: estimates, change orders, schedules, work-completed notes, invoices, payment dates, amounts, and transaction references. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in this application.
- Website and security data: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, form activity, and security logs used to operate the site and prevent spam, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Employee operations data: authorized staff accounts may record time, assigned jobs, payroll details, job notes, and location data at clock-in or clock-out. Employee location data is used for jobsite timekeeping and safety/verification—not consumer advertising.
2. How we use information
- Respond to quote requests and plan, estimate, schedule, and perform construction services.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, change orders, project updates, billing reports, and closeout documents.
- Maintain financial, tax, warranty, safety, and business records.
- Secure accounts and forms, investigate errors or abuse, and improve our website and operating systems.
- Show project photos in our portfolio only when we have permission or another lawful basis to do so. You may ask us not to use photos of your project for marketing.
3. When we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with hosting, email, file-storage, accounting, payment, insurance, legal, trade, supplier, or subcontractor providers supporting the project or our business. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential session and security cookies for logins, secure links, and form protection. We do not use this website to sell cross-site advertising profiles. If optional analytics or advertising tools are added later, this policy will be updated and any legally required choices will be provided.
5. Secure customer links
Customer project and change-order links may contain unique access tokens. Treat those links like confidential documents and do not forward them to anyone who should not see the project. Contact us promptly if a link may have been shared accidentally so we can replace or disable it.
6. Retention and security
We retain records for as long as reasonably needed to quote and complete work, support warranties, resolve disputes, maintain tax and accounting records, and meet legal obligations. We use access controls, protected sessions, validation, backups, audit records, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided, or withdraw permission for marketing use of project photos. Some records may need to be retained for contracts, payments, taxes, warranties, security, or legal claims. We will verify requests before acting on them.
8. Children and external links
Our services are not directed to children under 13. The site may link to Instagram, Google, suppliers, or other external services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
